It is said that friends are the family you choose and that a three-day weekend is a long weekend. This one will be short. Short? Short because you will want more. More routes. More workshops. More talks. More dinners. More dances. More surprises. More bike. Welcome to your new family.

¿Where?
Gor: perfect destination for bikepacking.
In this second edition of the Biketravel Fest we will go to a unique place that combines adventure, challenge and variety of terrain: Gor, a town in Granada, Badlands territory, located between the impressive forests of the Sierra de Baza and the immense, reddish ravines of the Gorafe desert, one of the most surprising landscapes in Europe.

The surroundings
Gorafe desert
Considered one of the most unique environments in Europe, it seems like something from another planet and is a paradise for cycling adventures. Its impressive badlands, sculpted over millennia by erosion, create an incomparable landscape of ravines, canyons and geological formations that mesmerize.

Gorafe is also one of the largest megalithic complexes in Europe, with more than 240 dolmens that demonstrate human presence here for thousands of years. And when night falls, the stillness of the desert offers a magical experience: the night sky becomes an infinite canvas of stars.
Sierra de Baza
In the Sierra de Baza we will cycle through mountain landscapes and at almost every bend we will find impressive panoramic views. This Natural Park combines high mountain landscapes, Mediterranean forests and spectacular ravines that make it a unique destination to explore by bike. Its biodiversity is astonishing.

Badlands terrritory
In addition, Gor has become a reference point for lovers of cycling adventure: every year, it is the protagonist of Badlands, one of the most attractive ultra-distance races in the world. This international event has put Gor on the endurance cycling map, attracting elite athletes and adventurers from all over the world. And in May, they will welcome us with our second Biketravel Fest.
